Mental Health Support for Nurses – Nursing the Nurses

October 9, 2024

In the demanding world of healthcare, where compassion meets chaos, the mental health of nurses often takes a backseat. Nurses are the backbone of healthcare, tirelessly providing support to patients and families, yet they frequently overlook their own emotional well-being. As the pressures of the job mount—long shifts, high-stakes decisions, and the emotional toll of patient care—it’s vital to shine a light on the importance of mental health support for nurses.

Although mental health awareness is increasing in Australia, it can still be challenging to identify the right resources, even for those working in healthcare. Fortunately, there’s a wider range of mental health services available than ever before, provided by various professionals for professionals.
