Sutherland Hospital | ICU Nurses

About you:

You’re an RN2 or above with experience in managing clinically complex, intubated and ventilated patients within our Critical Care Unit.

You’ll work as part of our permanent team, on a 7-day rotating roster.

You’re local (there is no accommodation, relocation or additional provisions available for this role).

You must all the standard employment requirements for NSW Health including Occupational Assessment Screening & Vaccinations (OASV)

About us:

The Sutherland Hospital is seeking experienced critical care nurses for our workforce over the winter months – June to September 2023.

We’re looking for experienced nurses who can manage clinically complex intubated and ventilated patients within our Critical Care Unit.

This is a Sydney-based role – no travel or accommodation is provided. 

Start 1 June through to 1 September –  12 week contracts available

Need to know:

Registered Nurse 2 (RN2) casual rates as per the NSW Award + loading + penalties

a) You must have experience gained in an Australian hospital within the last 3 years

b) You must be a citizen or permanent resident

c) You must be AHPRA-registered with no conditions, undertakings, or reprimands

d) You’ll need a current Police Check, Working With Children Check (WWCC) or Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and

e) You need 2 clinical referees
