About you:

You’re an RN2 or above, keen for a 6-week contract.

You’re local (there is no accommodation, relocation or additional provisions available for this role).

You have experience in Acute Care, in particular, Haematology, Medical Oncology or Surgical Oncology will be highly regarded 

You can start as soon as you’re available – available for a minimum of 6 weeks

About the role

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre,  located in Melbourne, is looking for skilled Acute Care nurses to work in their Haematology Department. 

This is a term contract role, and you’ll need to be available for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the potential for the contract to extend for up to 12 weeks initially.

Induction into the facility will be provided over 3-5 days (including some supernumerary time).

Need to know:

Registered Nurse 2 (RN2) casual rates start at $45.12 per hour + loading and increase to $60.10 + loading per hour for an RN8 
Enrolled Nurse 2 (EN2) casual rates start at $40.31 + loading per hour and increase to $42.94.10 + loading  per hour for an EN5

Typical shifts are 8-hours

a) You must have experience gained in an Australian hospital within the last 3 years

b) You must be a citizen or permanent resident

c) You must be AHPRA-registered with no conditions, undertakings, or reprimands

d) You’ll need a current Police Check, Working With Children Check (WWCC) or Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and

e) 2 clinical referees
